Senior Asbestos Consultant requiredto work for a large organisation, good salary, benefits and comapny car. The Senior Asbestos Consultant will idealy be p402 or s301 experince and at least 3 years Asbestos Industry experience dealing with clients in London and the South East. QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering or similar relevant subject. Passes gained in BOHS
asbestos-related ‘P’ or ‘’S’ modules preferable.
EXPERIENCE: 2-4 years experience with an asbestos laboratory/consultancy; understanding of survey work particularly
desirable.
ORGANISATION:The company is a leading multidisciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy operating throughout
the UK and Europe, providing services across a range of markets including civil and structural engineering, contaminated
land, landscape design and environmental impact assessment. Clients cover both the private and public sectors and include
blue chip and multi-national companies.
The clients Asbestos Management Services (AMS) team engage in pure consultancy work, mostly in connection with large,
multi-million pound property acquisitions & developments. Scoping, project management and evaluation of asbestos surveys
together with assessment of financial risk is a main focus of the team’s work. The AMS team do not engage in any
technical asbestos work; this is outsourced from approved asbestos laboratories.
JOB DETAILS: The Consultant is required to work in the Central London HQ , initially within the team; this is largely an
office-based appointment but some site work may be involved. Furthermore, it is anticipated that variations in asbestos
work load will mean that the Consultant will have genuine opportunities to work with other teams engaged in land quality,
due diligence and planning projects.
Presentable and self-confident with good written and spoken English, the Consultant should also have a positive,
enthusiastic outlook and a willingness to learn. A suitable level of computer skills is essential.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience and background, a flexible benefits package is also offered.
